Budapest isn’t called the ‘City of Baths’ for nothing. Hungary is a land of thermal springs, and Budapest remains the only capital city in the world that is rich in thermal waters with healing qualities. Budapest is also one of the few places where you can experience traditional Turkish baths dating back to 16th and 17th centuries. Budapest has a number of great baths, spas and outdoor pools worth visiting. Thanks to a unique geological feature, Budapest ‘sits’ on over 100 thermal springs that feed the city’s famous bathhouses. The most famous ones are Szechenyi and Gellert Baths. Both have inside and outside pools as well. Furthermore you can have a relaxing massage or other treatments. At Nova Apartments reception we are happy to help to book you in or we can give you the tickets with VIP entrance to avoid queues.
